Hekla tower in Paris: more than 14 millions of euros as investment, twelve Twin elevator systems in order to improve the transport capacity of the Tower which will change the skyline of French capital. Applying the Twin frees up floor space, as this technology transports more people without increasing the number of elevator shafts, thank to featuring thyssenkrupp’s unique Twin lifts with two cars instead of just one movingin the same shaft.
With a height of 220 metres, around 5,800 people will be moving at a speed of 7 m/s inside the tower. Designed by the renowned architect Jean Nouvel, the spectacular building will become an iconic feature in the redesign of the district La Défense – including a green footpath modelled on the famous High Line in New York City. From the top of Hekla Tower will be possible to admire the Arc de Triomphe and the Tour Eiffel.
